Songwriting has been an important part of my life since I was very young. I have had the great honor and pleasure of working with brilliant musicians on many projects ranging from heavier rock and metal to pop rock and hip hop.
Although my music has been released under multiple band names and artist aliases throughout the years, my new songs will be released under my given name, which feels very fitting for this body of work. Now more than ever, authenticity has been the vital ingredient and ties my new album together using stories of my past and present, combined with sounds of nostalgia, aspects of sentimentality and my love for 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s music.
SONGWRITING
As someone who has always had an unwavering passion for film and TV, my scoring work has taken me down a path I never thought I’d walk as a musician and has been one of the most important musical journeys of my life. Free from the framework of contemporary songwriting, it has opened up a new school of thought that differed so greatly from what I was used to and had thrived in for over a decade. No more verse, chorus, bridge. It welcomes the abstract and whatever the scene calls for. It’s been an exhilarating experience.
